Hi all,
Ben here, from Saint FM Breakfast on Wednesday Thursday and Friday, just writing to let you know what’s on this morning’s show, from 7 30 till 10, broadcasting from the Ormiston Rivers Academy in Burnham.
I will be looking at the Events Guide at 25 past 8 and half 9, checking out the events happening today and tomorrow respectively.
I usually talk to John Whittingdale (MP for Maldon and Saint FM’s Man at Westminster) at a quarter to 9 every Thursday morning about his past week. He’s at a meeting though, so I won’t be doing that until Friday this week. Instead of speaking to John today, we’ll have a look through the weekend’s TV highlights, something that normally happens on Friday morning on the show.

As well as this, I’ll have my Topical Tune:

http://web.orange.co.uk/article/quirkies/Violinists_revenge_on_ringtone_rudeness

Well if you have a song suggestion relating to my story, you know what to do-contact me and tell me what it is! Our phone number is 01621 785 689,
The email address is:

studio@saintfm.org.uk

and our text number is 84555 (you’ll be charged 25 P in addition to your regular cost and you’ll need to put the word ‘Saint’ followed by a space before your message) or of course you don’t have to go anywhere else to get in contact, you can leave your message right here, right now if you like…
Please don’t call, email or text though until after half 7, I wanna here from you if you’ve got any Topical Tune suggestions, or any general song requests-and I will put anything on this morning.
Well I’ll be on in 30 minutes or so, hope you can join me!

Hello all,
I hope everyone’s doing well this morning and you’ll be tuning in to Saint FM from half 7 until 10 (today, Thursday and Friday), for Breakfast, with me Ben Kearns. If you aren’t feeling good, I hope I can cheer you up with great music and a bit of a laugh.

Gordon from Maldon will be on-air during the first 30 minutes of the show, to chat about his week gone by and what he’s up to in the next few days. Loads of people call him “The Most Interesting Man In Maldon”, so he’s well worth listening too!

At 25 past 8 and half past 9 this morning, I’ll be having a look at some events happening in the Maldon and Burnham area, over the next couple of days.

After half 8 today, we’ll be running our weekly studio quiz, ‘Dead Or Alive’-if you listen to us frequently, you know the score-if you don’t, you soon will.

Finally, I’m playing today’s Topical Tune just before 10 and as always one of you will be choosing it:

http://web.orange.co.uk/article/quirkies/Website_helps_spurned_lovers_sell_gifts

So read the story above and suggest a song that relates to it, I’ll be reading out your ideas throughout the show and as I said before, playing one of them before the show finishes.
You can contact the Saint FM Studio (based at the Ormiston Rivers Academy in Burnham) on 01621 785 689. You can send me an email:

studio@saintfm.org.uk

You can send me a text, the number is 84555, texts will cost you 25 P plus your Standard Network Rate and you’ll need to put the word ‘Saint’ and space before your message. Or there’s always the option of leaving your suggestion on this blog, right here…

I also want your general requests, if you have an unrelated song to the Topical Tune, I’ll play it if I can-you can use the contact details above to get in contact.
Well the show’s on in half an hour, so I’d better be off for now-talk to you at half 7 though.

Hi I’m Moonshadow, self confessed vinyl junkie!

Join me for on Monday nights for “Snap Crackle N Pop the Sound of the 70’s” every week I’ll play 3 from the artist of the week and the B side and A side of a single, there’s also the 1 hit wonder and if that’s not enough we are working our way through all the number 1’s of the 70’s in order, plus loads more tracks you rarely hear on the radio from that most eclectic of decades!

As if that wasn’t enough join me straight after for “Hidden Gems & Assorted Goodies” where you can hear anything from Prog Rock to Country, it’s a chance to play even more of those rarely heard tracks and there’s always “The Long Song in the Middle” and chance to play those tracks to long for daytime radio.

If you would like a request or dedication on either show you can email me, Moonshadow@saintfm.org.uk
