Hey guys,

Ben here, from Breakfast. I hope you’re gonna tune in to what will be a busy show, from 7 30 until 10 today.

First of all I’ll be talking about what’s going on events-wise over the next couple of days, I’ll be joined by John Whittingdale (as always) after half 8 and we’ll have all the news, weather and travel you’ll need.

As well as this though, I’ll be speaking to Tommy Blaise from the Tommy Blaise band at around half 9. Tommy has had an interesting music career (mainly as a session musician), but now he’s recorded an album of his own.

On top of all this I’ll still be running the Topical Tune, your chance to suggest a song connected to a certain news story. I thought we’d do this one this morning:

Don’t you love it when supposedly “intelligent” high flyers mess up like this?

Well have a read and if you have a song related to this, then let me know! You can either leave your choice of song here on the blog from now on in, or you can call, email or text me after half 7, when the show begins.

The studio number is 01621 785 689,

Send an email to:

studio@saintfm.org.uk

or why not text me? My number is 84555 if you’d like to send a message (texts will cost you 25 P plus your standard network charge and you’ll need to start your message with the word Saint and a space).

The same details apply for getting in contact with me regarding a request throughout the show and this morning’s Topical Tune will be played towards the end of the programme.

Hope that sounds good to you-why not join me on 94.7 FM or on this website, in around 30 minutes?

2 Interviews

Hey people,

Hope you all were tuned in to breakfast this morning and enjoyed the show.

I’m back as normal tomorrow, 7.30 till 10.

As you know if you regularly listen, I talk to John Whittingdale (Maldon’s MP and Saint FM’s man at Westminster) every Thursday morning between half 8 and 9 o’clock. Tomorrow is no exception, but there’s another interview later on, at around half 9. I’ll be talking to Tommy Blaise (lead vocalist for the Tommy Blaise Band) at that point. Tommy is one of the most experienced session musicians in the UK and has played in the famous Strictly Come Dancing band while all your favourite (and least favourite) celebs have been dancing the Foxtrot, Charlston and in most cases the 2 Left Feet dance.

His band have recorded an album of their own original tracks and have decided to emerge in to the limelight. Tommy will be sharing his thoughts on all these experiences with me on the show tomorrow.

If you have any questions for John or for Tommy (or both if you like) then here is the place to leave them!

If not, hope you can still join me for these 2 interviews-and the show in general for that matter, we’re on from half 7 tomorrow.

Good morning bloggers,

I hope you’ve had a great few days. Well it’s Ben here (from Breakfast), with some info on the show this morning, from 7.30 until 10.

Gordon from Maldon will be on in the first half hour with his take on what’s been going on in the world and in his own life, we’ll do our studio quiz entitled Dead Or Alive after half 8 and I will run through some of the events coming up over the next 2 days.

Finally, I’d like your suggestions (as I always do on Wednesday and Thursdays), regarding the Topical Tune.

So here’s today’s story:

http://web.orange.co.uk/article/quirkies/Family_catch_poltergeist_on_camera

If you have any song suggestions relating to this then get them through to me this morning and the second to last song I’ll play this morning will be one of the songs suggested during the programme.

Either leave them here on this blog from now on, or call, email or text the show after half 7.

We’re live at Maldon today, so the phone number is 01621 851 425,

Our email address is

studio@saintfm.org.uk

Or you can send me a text, to 84555 (texts will cost you 25 P plus your standard charge and you will need the word Saint and a space in front of your message).

I’d also love your general requests-if you have one, choose any song you like while the show is on-same contact details apply.

Well I’m in a rush to get going, so we’ll talk in 30 mins!
